This is a darkish, subterranean place with occasional live performances catering to a young clientele who enjoy the low prices and underground feel that it projects. The bar is located in the basement the old Mainichi Newspaper building. Halogen, dimmed regular lamps and candles are used to illuminate this bar-cum-eatery. Usually, when there is a performance of some sort going on here, there is no entrance charge. Food items such as fish with boiled eggs and clams, tacos and salsa or fish and chips are available. There are three beers on draught: Kirin Lager and Kirin Ichiban Shibori from Japan and Bass from England.
