Didn't want to come home...
Siesta Key/Crescent Beach was AWESOME! however there are little things about the Siesta Holiday House that we were unhappy about. It's not as close to the beach as what we were led to believe and by all means make sure you read the notebook on the table when you get there! Overall it was a very good experience and I look forward to going back.

(Report Problem)A perfect vacation spot!
We go to Clearwater Beach every year on vacation because of the white sandy beach and the family like atmosphere. We also love the road trip down there. It takes us about 14 to 15 hours to get there and it's ALWAYS an experience that we talk about for years! We love it! The only things that we dislike about the place are the prices of the hotels/motels and the traffic. The roads are also a little confusing unless you travel them alot. One of the best places to go to is Busch Gardens.

the beaches are alright. the waves are no where near as good as the east coast of florida. the night life is mediocore at best compared to other cities. ybor city where the most action is was pretty ghetto, the only night the clubs were ok was on a thursday. the other nights they were either empty or filled with creepy middle aged men trying to get with 18 year old girls. it's not as expensive as most cities but it doesn't have nearly enough to do and everything is so spread out that you need a car to get around. you can't really walk or take cabs to anything.

If I were to go on another cruise that left out of Tampa and I were spending the night with even a few hours to explore, I would stay in Ybro "old town Tampa". With the price of transportation it works out better to spend alittle more money in down town or Ybro hotel.

I had the misfortune to meet a member of the Tampa Downtown Partnership, Lynda Remund. She was rude, obnoxious, and completely unpleasant. I must schedule a 12000 person convention from the midwest in July and will not do business here because of her. We will go to Orlando.

I went to tampa i jest came from the airport an hour ago i went to lakes golf the best place is CLEARWATER BEACH,DOWNTOWN TAMPA,O REMEMBER BUCH GARDEN COST ALOT so go to buch garden in the summer i vist my cason and saw hoses we went to tampa to look for houses and high schools thier are 12 high scools in tampa area TAMPA HAS 1,DOWNTOWN TAMPA HAS 4,CLEARWATER HAS 5,AND ST PETERSBURG HAS 2 thats TAMPA.

I stayed in Tampa for the first time this past weekend. The overall stay wasnt that nice. I am from Ft. Lauderdale where everything is open real late. Everything closes early in Tampa. Where I stayed wasnt to far from Busch Gardens which was a plus but it wasnt in that great of an area. I went down to Ybor city one night and there was barely anyone there. Its ok but its not my type of place
