This is simply the best! I could go there every day - just the thought makes me feel really hungry! Diwan is a very reasonably priced balti house, the chicken curries and the vegs are awesome and you can bring your own drinks which makes eating there an even cheaper experience. I like the Diwan Balti better than the ones at the Balti Triangle/ Ladypool Road, it's not so crowded (at least not during the week). You got families, groups of friends, it's a very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a try!

(Report Problem)I have been going to the Diwan for over 15 years and continue to go back. The food and service are very good. I have been eating at Curry Houses in Brum since 1983 and seen many come and go but this is the consistently best I have found. Recently had a face lift but still well priced. You can take your own drink and a party of four can have a starter and main for £35. Worth booking Friday/Sat nights. Our kids love it as do our friends who are converted.

(Report Problem)We moved to Birmingham six months ago and as avid curry eaters we set about finding our restaurant of choice. We've tried several, and this is the best. We've never been disappointed, and have taken guests there a few times.

(Report Problem)I have been in Birmingham for 10 years now and have sampled curry and baltis throughout Birmingham and always find myself going back to the Diwan restaurant as its quality food, large portions and very friendly staff. Its unlicenced so you take your own drinks which only makes it cheeper. I know of people returning here from far and wide. BEST PLACE IN TOWN!

(Report Problem)The food is great and the best thing is that 12 of us eat for less than £100 now thats what I call Value for money.
