The Crowne Plaza is a modern hotel built in 1973, comprising 11 stories. It is close to the city center, just a few minutes walk from Broad Street - an area known for its nightlife - and also near the International Convention Centre. It has always been regarded as one of the city's sleeker hotels and is set back slightly from the main road with a spacious paved area in front of it. The adjacent Alpha Tower, one of Birmingham's tallest buildings, makes a good landmark.

would not recommend this hotel

we stayed at this hotel on the evening of 15 february, a freezing cold night and the two rooms we had were equally as cold, no heating at all in the bathroom,broken tv, to say the food in the restaurant was disgusting would be to put it mildly, at almost £300 for one nights stay for four, vastly overpriced, absolutely awful!!!! would not recommend this hotel at all.
