The New Otani Hotel is one of Fukuoka's finest hotels. You could also say, perhaps, that it is one of the country's finest. New Otani became the first large metropolitan hotel in Japan to offer accommodations for the blind and their sight-dogs. In the past, it has served athletes from world sporting events and other VIPs. Located a little south of downtown Fukuoka, it might be a little inconvenient for some, but its facilities should prove fine for most guests.
