The bright and gleaming New Miyako Hotel is just behind Kyoto station and thus ultra-convenient for transport. Good Value
The New Miyako is very convenient to the Kyoto station, and thus all public local transportation. It is a fairly priced 4 star hotel with a very good buffet breakfast. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean. You can get good bargain rates on their own internet site.
